Looks like the harm was done to your brain.  The track is in Maine and is owned by a local group.

Dingus, you are correct! As someone who lives in Maine and goes to Cumberland, it is a local group that owns the dates there. It's just "LUCPARK" being a hater! LOL!

mwins, sadly you are correct. Maine racing is nowhere what is was years ago. It's fun to hang out there and watch the races. Making a "score" with the smallest pools around is next to impossible. With our winters, it's sweet to sit out there in the sun and relax! LOL!

Welcome to amateur racing!  Better prices to be made if you can handicap a race normally instead of through the mindset of an amateur driver. Big difference between quality of amateur races between Cumberland and The Meadowlands and other tracks in between that provide amateur races.

Are the horses driven tougher (harder) by amateur drivers than professional A drivers because they race faster?

  • SwankToliverA: You're right Rainman, much more than Politics in life. Politics should not end friendships or any relationship really. Most ppl believe what they believe and their minds can't be persuaded. Imho

  • rainman2: yes---as i said earlier  more important things than political differences.  betting and owning horses among other things.  many other people in the world have gone through the same exact thing.  people have to learn from these experiences instead of harboring ill-will from them.  The world is screwed up because of thes things.

  • dougie: No blame assigned. Do you actually think we can ever be friends again?

  • rainman2: Dougie---FYI, I never used the word 'HATE'--YOU DID!  Please don't make up excuses to the contrary!  You chose to end it not me!,  Again more excuses.  FYI, you are on a public forum here.  You only have yourself to blame for  your actions.  Don't blame me for this!

  • dougie: I did try to end it with respect.
