Mohawk Saturday Night
« on: October 28, 2023, 09:27:00 AM »
Race#1-#8 CONTROL THE GOLD 8-1 ML Monumental trainer change & adds Fillion over Hudon. The horse doesn't show much, but he's not in with much & Moreau has been heating up.

Race#5-#3 STRAPPER HANOVER 2-1 ML Anyone playing the pick 5, he's single in here in my estimation. Moves barns, raced great last start fired home, beat my a really good colt.

Race#9-#6 COLD CREEK QUESO 6-1 ML Go back to the well again tonight, was given a dog shit steer last week, picks up Jamieson tonight. Jimmy Freight will be go off under even money in here. With a trip CCQ can beat this bunch at a nice price.

Race#10-#7 SAULSBROOK VICTOR 5-2 ML Got buried on the rail last week, flew late & will be brave tonight off of that trip. Not lots of gate speed in here, should be leaving tonight & drops in class.

Best of Luck  tmbz1

Jimmy freight scratch cooked price on 6. I didnt get to see 1st race but watch the 8 next week. I notice moreau recruits have been improving 2nd start. Ill have to watch the replay to see if the race tonight looked like a track tour.

Had to laugh at the last race. Announcer said wind blown blows up board at 44-1. Im not saying race goofy but i wont play mohawk on night when big races out of town. Always seems to be 1 or 2 races that lol blowup on those cards. Prolly coincidental.

  • Bitter Truth: That Golden Tempo , I'm afraid is  a money burner. Gets so far back. Was in range but just hung and raced even in the stretch. Didn't see a Derby winner in there in my opinion.

  • Trigger: I thought BT & I had a real good shot w/ a 110 4/5, wide but nice momentum, and then a sharp left turn mid stretch ended that  ngc3
