I spent the night watching on Tvg/fandeul.
It is so boring .........this Jim Miller is a wet suit.

The pool sizes at Hawthorne tonight were very comparable to the Indiana Super Finals on Friday night

Obviously way down compared to history, but I think this speaks to the remaining sentiment Chicago has for harness racing.

It's so sad to see what this state has done to destroy one of the sport's most passionate home-bases.

It all started when the johnsons bought maywood and balmoral and kept brainwashing the horsemen to stay there and not race at Hawthorne. Before that time Chicago harness was tops period. Summers at spk and winters at Washington and Hawthorne. But those greedy track owners cost everyone in Chicago there livelihood.

I only scanned thru the results,but it appeared to me that Todd Warren outperformed Ervs Elves!?!
