Walter case jr.. Possibly the greatest half mile track driver that ever lived, right?  His strategy - BLAST OFF DOWN THE ROAD, or come first over throwing the lines. NO real strategy.
Herve Filion - Possibly the other greatest half mile track driver that ever lived - Greatest "strategic" driver I ever saw.

Same result for both - thousands of wins.

Point is, who needs strategy anymore - we all know the game on every track now is SPEED. Ctw, speed destroyed this sport. but that' s another debate.
