How about going to see Bret Hanover duel Cardigan Bay at RR or YR. I forget which one.

Not trying to be a jerk, but I think you are spelling the horse's name wrong.
Pathway lists only one Jim King. A FFA pacer of Bobby Decker's that I watched race many times in the 70's.

I am just an old horse trainer still going around in circles. Sometimes Fast. Sometimes Half-Fast.

Nevele Pride at MR 1969. I too was there. If I recall Dancer’s goal was to set the worlds record for a trotter on a half mile track. The race was a complete walkover as mentioned previously. Unfortunately the track wasn’t in peak condition due to some recent precipitation and Pride did not do what Stanley had hoped for. It was still great to be there to see a great trotter up close.
