I caught 2 fights. Might have been more if I tuned in earliar.
(1) A black and white,can one say that anymore. ALI with HOWARD commmentatin on it.
ALI/TERREL. Which was BRUTAL. One sided and HOWARD between rounds pissin of ALI jokenly. ALI was sharp with his remarks. Very astute. ALI a BLACK MAN supporter and he saw ERNIE as a lover of WHITES. That why the beating. 15 rounds as it was back in day. COSSELL says why you not put him away when watchin fight was finished. ERNIE fought with both eyes closed shut from beatin. ALI was nice and said. HOWARD,I could not put him down,I tried. That BOY was tough and I respect him standin and never goin down and never quittin even tough I put a terrible beatin on him.
(2) The first ALI/FRAZIER fight. Another 15 rounder. WAS that a great fight. I personally watched it in 1971 at hotel room in towers where you bought room for fight.
This one was really BRUTAL. Both hated each other. FRAZIER knocked down ALI in 15th. Also had him in 11th. A miracle ALI finished round. Both tauntin each other.
FRAZIER retains by unanimios. Both end up in HOSPITAL immeditiatly after fight. That thin was BRUTAL. The commentators were ARCHIE MOORE and BURT LANCASTER. Did not know BURT new anything about boxing.
