Actually just noticed that is almost a year old...why post that now?

Because it was just updated on last Friday's USTA rules and suspensions!

Status as of 6/22/2020 - Subsequent Ruling - Mr. JIM POLLOCK JR has agreed to a settlement with the Ohio State Racing Commission regarding Case #2019-23. He agrees to pay a $500.00 fine by July 10, 2020 and return the purse ($50,000.00) to Delaware County Fair by July 10, 2020. O.S.R.C.-3769-18-01(A)(2) 18-01(B)(1), (10)&(13) 18-02 18-99 If the fine is not paid to the judges by 7/10/20 you may be suspended and or license revoked by the commission. If the purse money is not returned by 7/10/20 the owner shall stand suspended until all purse money has been returned to the permit holder. Horses owned wholly or in part by the owner

There! That's why it was just posted!

How could they sue?  They wouldn't have won if they weren't cheating to begin with.  Plus I bet 95% of these owners know exactly what is going on.  Would love to see the text messages between the owners and these trainers.

See - that's what's wrong.  If the rules and regs have any meaning  -  it oughta require a decent appeal.  BUT, in OH-IO, it's pretty much a formality and then the violation is erased.  It is absolutely moronic and the DIR. of the OSRC should be held on account.  It's in a word a  =  JOKE    lok55 lok55 lok55
