and Southern Hemisphere within 6 months.

He is a 5yo who due to having a bad tendon in his leg, did not race until this year. The vet says he is fully fit and benefits from Beach training.

He is 6 for 6 and displays blinding speed at the push of a button.

In his second race he was 10 lengths from the leader at the half, blew around the field on the turn and won by over 8 lengths. Ran his last half in 53 and change quarter in 25 and a piece.

They are being careful with him as he runs every two weeks for now. They turned him out for the winter and he lasted a few days and they had to put him back in work.

He won today over there in a standing start race  off a 30 meter handicap and won by 6 lengths.

Now here is an oddity...  Over there Win and place bets are a $1.00 He paid $1.30 to win and $1.70 to place and the second horse paid $1.00 for a $1.00. You have a horse like him a certain winner on paper in yet the second horse have massive money on him to run second.

The above video is of his second race.

His 3rd win was at the main track over there (video below)..  He's got plenty of gate speed and lots of finishing speed and sloppy tracks do not bother him.

I would like to see him come up here but the owner says he is not for sale. If he has any brains he would come up here but he thinks this horse is the best over there and he can make some big money over there I guess.  Time will tell

Great.... the second coming of Lazerus.... the "greatest beast....er.. rat" of all time. Leave him there please.

Lazarus-looked every bit a great horse when he first landed-but Takter didnt get this one going like many from down under when they arrive--some get sick.
Last start-should NEVER have raced---was sick and bled and retired. Not the horses fault at all IMHO.
Some great horses have come from down under-(Cardigan Bay, Shartin N etc) so I wouldnt be that harsh.

On the other hand, he's standing for $10k.  You'd think he'd be worthy of some premium vs Betting Line, but he isn't.

Maybe that Christian Cullen Golden Cross thing saves him from $5k territory.

Exactly--My personal preference is Lazarus over Betting Line--Christian Cullen--was the best horse down under-Champion racehorse(Beast) and Champion sire-then to top it off hes by Bettors delight-and although Bettors Delight Stallions have a question mark as to how they will perform as sires-Lazarus may be the one to carry the Line. Lazarus is getting plenty of interest Down Under so Im told-book will be full.

  • Trigger: Kirby, tell the wife next Thursday you'll be back Monday afternoon.  Forget the "black Kettle" and cup sip on an umbrella drink watching the hot tan trim, some racing, great food, and beach air.  Teen evening temperature in Delaware, you can do better!  Me & You Babe!  ;D
