He appealed. He lost. He appealed again. He lost again. He asked the Supreme Court to take it. They declined. He asked them to reconsider that refusal — something the Court has not granted anyone since 2018.
On Monday, they denied him.
The verdict is final. There is nothing left to appeal. Carroll collected the $5.63 million judgment last month.
Three years of appeals accomplished exactly one thing: they ran up the interest he owed her.
