Animal Advocacy for racing horses comes in many forms.
Now I would disagree that animal advocates who want horse racing to end, lobby, fight for the sole reason horses shouldn't race because of inherent training, racing related injuries and deaths
SHOULD NOT BE IN THE HALL OF FAME! Not saying their platform should be removed, some of what they say and do is good stuff, but the entirety of their cause is the antithesis and not acceptable on either side to accept or be given praise.
But who does deserve.
The kind of work Mike and the folks he associates do, the stuff he does that touches other areas of racing / outside racing but horse race related and people not healthy to racing or the animals or the gamblers or anyone legit.
Those that adopt horses, care, donate, help safely retire, support anti illegal-harmful drugs, peds, work toward a better, healthier and longevity situation end to end experience for horses and racing do.
At least one a year should be nominated and possibly entered in a HOF!
