100% spot on
Everyone who works are the tracks believes what he posted.

Meadowlands handle down 3% year over year and blame it on the 3 weeks when they reduced the drag.

Remember what gural said about those 3 weeks. The CAWs couldn't adjust to the different countdown clock so they weren't betting, he reinstated no drag.

Attributing an entire years worth of handle decline iver a few weeks the caws couldn't bet

this is a complete crock of shit

CAWs wait for all the money to enter the pools, and then they bet-so they couldn't care less when the races go off

common sense

now the drag might affect retail bets, but CAWs wait until after the race starts before their money enters the pools-so a drag doesn't affect them

I dont believe thay was actually the case either. But thats what he said. These CAWs can do anything from a tech standpoint. The drag reduction couldn't have been something they couldn't overcome from a technical view. That seems ludicrous.

My opinion is that the the drag reduction did impact the retail space. The caws complained, they couldn't bet as much as they want/needed to and without that caw money, the meadowlands quickly reversed course.

I dont know. That is my pure speculation. Remember when gural allowed them in it was a negotiated deal that required them handle a certain amount for the access to the pools and the rebates

also another comment about Hoosier......

Prewitt is blatantly lying saying the 30% increase is mostly retail

with an industry in handle free fall--it would be absurd and unexplainable why suddenly one racetrack shows a 30% increase in retail handle

if Prewitt is such a handle wizard--then why does Harrahs PHL have such a pathetic handle?

why doesn't his magic work there?

Anyone can say anything. I can say that i bought 100000 bitcoins years ago. Unless I show you my account, would me telling you that actually mean anything?

Prewitt needs to prove it. Provide transparency. Show your customers the information.
Otherwise it's just a waste of time. Nobody believes it. And it's insulting
