Kind of like a part-timer, was partners with his dad for a long time, never had more than a couple of horses I think. I met him and his dad at Mohawk a hundred years ago. Nice guys, welcoming, offered to help out, etc. Then about a year later they show up at the Meadowlands with two horses. Karl was driving them obviously, but he actually got a few catch drives. Back then he was OK. Haven't seen him or spoke with him in close to a hundred years, LOL.
