He’s all of the above . Nice guy , was a good driver , is divorced now . And like all of us Father Time caught him early and is a low B driver now . Last year he did 2.4 million this year maybe 2 million obviously he’s not making any money as a driver any longer . He enjoys his small band of home breds he owns and trains . Next year probably will be lucky to do a million . Fringe player at best .

I remember him on the NY circuit for awhile. He used to like to shoot them off the gate for the lead.

This is i would post about him and i know he drove Gallo but some of the worst drivers drove great horses,      i never looked at him like he was anything but average but he was good for racing as he added pace to a race

Like I said earlier he’s a 5% driver now . Was never dominant ever in the states . He’s had a fabulous career considering his talent is average . He is a good guy other than that .

Years ago at the Meadowlands he had a horse he asked me if I could feed him for him s o I did it was just before Christmas he told me he is going home to Quebec for 10 days as well as feed he wanted me to jog his horse in all this time he never gave me a dime I  told him to find someone else he never did offer any thing.

So you just took it for granted he'd pay you without making it clear how much before he left? That makes YOU a fucking idiot. Did you ever ask him or just complain like a twat on Horseplop about it? ngc3 ngc3 ngc3 ngc3 ngc3

As for Dube. Not the best tactically and can't hold one, but he does have live hands and horses seem to go forward for him.

Dan came to Garden State with three other guys. Yves Corbin was his translator. He knew a little english. Very nice guys. You’d be hard pressed to find someone to say anything negative about them.

When he first came down here to Yonkers a lot of the drivers were taking 3 or 4 thousand out of the windows every night. Meadowlands opened up they had to go there because of the handle. It's easier to lose a race than win one a top driver told me that. They were a lot of drivers that made more money than Herve but he won over 15000 races. Look at the drivers that retired in their early fifties and lived like kings after that.

He’s historically cheap fits his personality and profile . Never pays for lunch or a dinner expects everything on the cuff
