Bartlett vs Merriman

With Bartlett on an absolute tear he's taken over the top spot in the country by 1.  Can he take down perennial leader Merriman? I think he has a big shot!

I guess that depends on if Bartlett gets suspended from his stiff job at The Meadowlands and if Merriman goes to prison or rehab for his dui. What a great look for harness racing, a cheat and a drunk as the two leading drivers so far this year. 11.wp

Bartlett Meadowlands days are coming to an end whether Jeffy suspends him or not.  Once the boys come back Bartlett will be a non factor and will likely not even come on Saturdays.  He will live and die by Yonkers and can't match the amount of drives Merriman gets.  The only reason Merriman is on top is he drives two tracks daily.  Now when he gets indicted and the hammer finally comes down on him he will be done.

Bartlett will get drives if he stays at M1 on Saturdays.  He has shown he can drive a big track now.  Getting some experience against lesser was good for him.  Hope to see him again in about 30-60 after they suspend him.
