northfield park use to be packed
you had to pay a dollar to park
1.50 to get in the doors
2.00 for a program

now there are 12 cars in the lot one of which works at the program stand.
free entry and parking

the casino is always full. im not sure why they dont show the races and offer horse betting where the slots are. they are 2 seperate facilities which you can spit on one if you 0's are at the other.
I remember back in the 70's and 80's the parking lot included where the casino is now. Sometimes on Saturday nights and especially during big races all parking was full. You had try and park at the McDonalds and donut shop across the street to find a spot. Until they got wise and started towing your car.

  • dougie: Got chicken and bet $10WP onWP on Horacio De Paz'shorse who won at 8-1. I love the trainer, but was afraid of the layoff. Coming back strong with $20Win and $60 Place on #7Elegant in the 7th at the Spa.
