Who the he’ll would want their kid to grow up and be involved In Horse racing or grow up to be a gambler? Bad parenting right there, let alone set up a ‘career day’ at a school 😂😂😂😂🙅🏼‍♂️🙅🏼‍♂️🙅🏼‍♂️🙅🏼‍♂️😂😂😂

First rule in business, those that were in charge of a demise should never be involved with coming up with a solution. And there's a solution, of course there is. But until you get fresh blood in there, the sport/game has zero chance to survive the downward trajectory its been on for over a decade. There are capable people that can fix both the supply (i.e. breeding) and the demand (i.e. increasing handle) sides. The obvious solution is get all the jurisdictions together to come up with a mutual agreement on how to address the differences in participation. Having Michigan and Chicago go to zero is not in the best interests of the sport. Having Yonkers and Gural fighting non stop might be the death knell for racing. As for the demand side, well that's simple. You hire someone competent to address all that ails that file. CAW's bye bye, stupid bets like those that Mohawk comes up with--gone immediately. Just my thoughts after sending it in and driving to every little track from PEI to Pompano

Why in the hell would you want your kids involved in harness racing? Do you really want to try and spend the day at the track with your kid? They will not be amused. Teach them about football, ya got a better shot, it's more interesting. And they probably bet it already. Has anybody seen the renditions of the new Yonkers, there isn't a track. Gural is 83 how long is he gonna last.

That's a careless and cruel thing to say and I'm sure if you give enough thought, you could re-phrase it another way. Plus, i have many friends who live incredible rich and happy lives working in the industry cheek by jowl with their family. I see it even more when I visit my friends at Keenland.

like i said in the previous post your posts have kindness written over them but to me i do not think you see all sides and i to have traveled to every track at one point and enjoyed it,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,A few years back i went to a GREEK breakfast place near my house and the owner was an everyday player who said some of the most vile things after loosing hes money and that day there were 5 of his friends at his restaurant and i asked him why did he wish death the previous day on drivers after loosing his money and he told me that his whole life he has been cheated with owning horses to betting on them and all he wanted was a fair play and with all his work he was in huge trouble as he had no money and the business was going broke and all he said the day before he meant and his friends felt the same way and i left feeling sad but i tried to see things his way,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,next all hard working players who have put their life into being good at their craft are getting killed and i am saying all as its speed tracks with single file racing on speed tracks with corrupted pools and many are suffering from this plus true fans are been cheated by this poor product,,,,,,,i know of many people who have commited suicide over the years and only knew one well and he sold racing forms for 40 years and was told they are getting rid of that crew and he asked management to place him somewhere else as every dollar he had was lost through the windows and they said no and he sued and one day his lawyer called and said the court closed the case and he went to the fourth floor at woodbine and jumped,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,next i ran into a horseman who trained at BLUE  BONNETS IN montreal and he told me that he only knew one life and that was training horses and he was always broke and owed everyone and when they closed he thought life was over and he went to work and today 15 years later he bought a house and owns a business and at the time that blue bonnets went broke he did not want to go on but he had a kid and he told me that he has not watched a race in 15 years,,,,,,, Only management and cheat come out smelling like roses in this game and so few others and AGENT Q WE CAN FIND GOOD IN EVERYTHING BUT WE HAVE TO LOOK AT THE PACKAGE,,,,,,,
