Motor Shark 70 lengths

How in the world do the Stalbaum kids have a horse finish 70 behind the winner last night at CalExpo in Race 12? Maybe check to see if it’s got a full pulse?

They seem to be god awful horsemen and have absolutely terrible stock.  Not a great combination!  tmbz1

I looked at Friday. He had 6 in. 5 got beat by double digits, and one came in 5th. The question is how does he make a living and pays his bills. He may be a nice guy, but he still has expenses.

A lot of the horses they have are horses their father had at one time. When their dad Larry had them he sent them down the road, gut them every week, now they probably can barely stand Larry hands them over to the kids and they try to get every single ounce out of them. Good race horses at one time but you can’t gut them and go with them every week, sooner or later they break down and these horses the kids have are probably pretty much shot .

Decent incentives for x amount of starts as a trainer. Doesn't matter where they finish or how much they get beat
