Key word is PONTENTIAL.  Read it!

Agreed. They didn't know it was tetanus when they came to track, it would seem. Honestly, the vet telling them to bring the horse to the track is pretty poor practice too. That seems punishable as well.

I’m sure everyone acted professional when interviewers well.  I’m guessing no and that’s the reason for suspension

Vaccines are not 100% full proof, and a baby horse can get in a lot if trouble while turned out, they can get Tetanus while turned out, scratching on a fence, even a rusty snap on a bucket or a sharp piece it doesn’t mean he wasn’t fully vaccinated before getting gelded, he could have got sick from the stress of it all, there’s a million reasons,  it doesn’t mean they were neglecting shots or care, Tetanus also sits in the body a long time before being detected, I’m sure they were sad it died themselves , you people are just looking for reasons to talk shit on them and got one little snippet and run with it 😂😂😂😂🙄

Regardless, I still disagree how they treat their 2 yo's by racing them 2 and 3 times a week on the fair circuits all over Ohio in the summer heat. Never happen with my horses. The welfare of my horses means much more to me that a few extra $ in my pocket.

The wheels will fall of that wagon, soon. Allard has been out since July. These Gypsies will not be needed much longer.

Ir’Regardless, I’m talking about Tetanus and contagious deseases, Tetanus is not contagious I’m not following their racing careers of their horses , not my place to care,  I’m saying the fine and suspensions is BS because of the facts, if they brought a horse in with EHV or Strangles, stuff like that, it would be warranted, this is just picking at straws do you know how many humans are walking around with Tetanus and don’t know it?

My last comment on this. When they brought him to the track they did not know he did not have strangles did they?

I cannot bring my grandson to school with a fever!  If the doctor says the fever was an allergic reaction to a bug bite, he is clear to go to school. If it is Covid...he is not.

Agreed, we don't even know it was tetanus. I learned take what some posters quote as fact with a grain of salt.

The only pure fact is that the Cleggs are notorious for not doing what's best for the horse. Sure it's often masked behind silly Facebook post of horses for sale and humorous short clips. But I challenge anyone to name just a single native of the broad and wide Allard entorage that is a true and genuine horseperson.
