Dale Ross had Momentum, Robert Rahner had Momentous.

I am not talking best horse but a horse that was special to you,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,At GREENWOOD MANY YEARS AGO there was a horse called BANKER FRITZ AND I LOVED SHADY HILL PRIDE AND THOSE ARE MY TOP HORSES........

I saw the Banker race a couple of times. Shady Hill Pride had that one move that was something to witness.

Dale Ross

One of my biggest cashes was one of Dale's horses named Super Pick with Cobb up. I couldn't understand why Cobb was driving while Dale, who I believe was from Vienna, Ohio, was at Roosevelt that night, or maybe it was Yonkers.  I looked for things like that and it sure paid off that night. Eddie Cobb, by the way, was quite a driver contrary to popular belief.

There have been many... but Scenic Regal stands out. She was a tough trotting mare.

Absolutely...what a tough mare. Week in and week out, just kept going, grinding and racing tough. She won over $1m the hard way. At her best she could compete with the best going. I remember she finished second in three BC's in a row! Twice she got beat by none other than Grades Sining, and once she got beat by Amrbro Flori. I also remember her getting beat by about a half-length to the great Mack Lobell.
