Mohawk Monday
« on: September 30, 2024, 07:35:15 AM »
Race#5-#6 BAD EYE BILL 5-1 ML Draws into the bottom feeder condition horses, which is where his form dictates he should be. I’d expect McNair to try and leave a bit tonight, rail horse will throw down crazy fractions & hopefully fade late. Bad Eye Bill overdue for a better effort.

Race#8-#6 R PEAKY BLINDERS 4-1 ML Monster effort finally last start out, although vs much inferior competition then these gold trotters. #8 Paquet will be 1-5 on the board and he always looks ready to break, wouldn’t doubt every other horse will be double digits in here, time to look for value.

Race#10-#1 SELF MADE 3-1 ML Debuts in Canada & for Monitini tonight. Has been floundering in lower conditions in Ohio & meets a very beatable bunch in here tonight. Don’t expect big odds , but I’d expect some tinkering in equipment & much bigger results tonight.

Best of luck!  tmbz1

I noticed that as well..it happens all the time there. I graded them a C- in the other thread but I might have to rethink that.. between the post drag, follow the leader and sprint to the end, holes given up, massive odds changes well after the race starts.. it's almost unbettable.. I never have any kind of luck there. The only thing that does not put it to an F is decent horses and a few decent drivers. Downgrading to a D. I rated Hoosier a D- so I'll keep Mohawk barely above them.

Considering Randy Waples is a former driver, I think his handicapping leaves alot to be desired on the broadcast.

Gh i can tell you that 95 percent of drivers have no IQ AND REAL POOR HANDICAPPERS AND TODAY THEY ALL HANDICAP AND WHEN THEY ARE BIG PRICES AND HAVE A SHOT THEY DONT KNOW IT,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,They drive like champs on 3-5 shots and the other drivers in the race all drive according to their odds,,,,,,,,,,,At the TB riders put horses in a spot to win........

The great drivers usually leave and put their horse in a good position to win. I agree some drivers drive according to the odds and I've been going to the racetrack for over 55 years.

When you play in a house game of poker you will run into a dealer that can fix the deck but they are so  good you can not see it but in harness racing they show you like in the last race tonight that they can deal from the bottom of the deck as winners drop 80 percent in odds and it never stops and people are paid to watch this,,,,,,,,,,,,
