I thought if the related casino, Resorts, did more business the purses go up. It makes sense that the casino’s business is probably the highest during the summer months. If I am correct then by the winter the purses will drop again. Unfortunately the steadies that go for live racing still can’t get a hot dog or much else if they are hungry.

It was the annual MHHA bonus weeks. Purses next week are reduced.
