A character for sure.  Once got in an argument with someone in the simulcast when it was in the temporary modular building out by the home stretch, and security told them both to leave.  He demanded they cash out his account right then.  It was like $80-100k.  Long story short, only the other guy had to leave.  If Duane liked you, one of the nicer guys around!  RIP!!!

Made a lot of that money gate calling/past posting Illinois racing.  Got so bad they starting shutting the windows at 0 minutes to post in Maryland on Illinois racing. This would have been in the late 90's early 2000's.

He was the king of gate calling at almost every track!  Harrington tellers gave him a lot of courtesy.  Probably a 7-figure bettor most years.
