11 of the eligible were bred downunder mate....

Does that seem high or average ?

Same tired group as the last couple of years. This is why there is zero interest in Yonkers racing. Post draws and merry go round racing for five straight weeks and boredom at the highest levels.

Surprised some of the big $$ Harris purchases and others sold after the stakes season don't show up, as this is big$$ to start paying them off (even if they are "only" 4).

This is not your father's George Morton Levy series any longer. I cannot believe how much it has diminished in stature. It went downhill when Bill Robinson entered the picture years ago.

This is a shame. A premier event years ago. Used to be some serious FFA battles. Now its like watching paint dry the length of the series.
Life is more like a bowel clogged full of cherry pits.

Quite noticeable indeed! But, consider the venue.
