Groom, gambler, whatever, it doesn't matter. This guy should, and will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law, and he will be. There are people, and I don't know how and wouldn't even waste a second on why, who somehow try to defend the Surick's, Navarro's, et al, of the world. Perhaps because they simply don't light a match and burn down a barn killing horses. However, they killed horses nonetheless. Intention doesn't matter. But this isn't about them.

This is a tragic, horrible event. For the true fans of the sport, and those in the business, remember, we step up. When tragedy strikes, we absolutely do take care of our own. Money, breedings, equipment, horses, and more; people are and will continue to step up. Our thoughts and prayers are with you...and we will be there for you!
