Fines and suspension
« on: August 14, 2023, 11:52:52 AM »
If sometne sees this replay, I'm trying to figure what he did to get 5 days... The race itself, he got into the four hole, with not much problems, pulled second over, noone behind. Tipped 3 wide on the far turn, no real advancement, and paced down the lane following the field.    What I did see was this guy throwing the lines and chasing the horse non stop from the half on. Not to the point of abusive, but something that also didn't seem to be helping the horse....
Opinions or thoughts if someone watches the replay.

Watched the replay. Looks like at one point he almost lost a line. check it again. I could be wrong but maybe the judges saw it the same way?

He definitely moves a lot in the bike. coming past the grandstand, you can tell he isnt as experienced as he is contantly looking left and right and several several times. As soon as he pulled he chased the whole mile.  Probably correct on the lines.

I agree.  Could've lost control or been dumped if horse makes any kind of misstep.  Never would've had enough control to grab into him if it had been needed.  Looked reckless to me.
