think it was karl becker - def calls a nice race and is a student of illinois bred racing

It’s Kurt Becker, Carl’s son. Kurt is the announcer at Keeneland as well as NASCAR and Barret Jackson car auction. He’s the best around IMO. Listen to him do a T-bred race the guy literally never misses a beat or gets messed up

Carl Becker was a little-known legend in the announcer’s booth. His Fall Red Mile calls several decades ago were excellent. His son has inherited his talent.
