Watch the replay! The horse was running him over from behind..He has a right to protect himself from injury..NO PUNCH was ever thrown! That was the ones drivers fault..The old no control because of hand holds back too far!

Tim did not grab up HARD....he took up a bit to let Morgan go and McCarthy, for whatever reason, couldn't hold his and did run up on Tim.  Tim punched no one, sat up in the bike and wiggle away a bit. 

The USTA even charted the line (correctly this time) as a DX (driver caused break) on McCarthy. 

It's like calling average people pretty or attractive...if fucking cheapens it for those that really are. 

Calling foul on Tim here has no merit, but we can talk about Tim's stiffs in Chicago for days!

not arguing with you here. usta does nt chart race.. the tracks charter  weatherrite charts race and judges make  on interference breaks.. usta just posts it from them....timmy def grabbed up like normal  .but did grab up , and driver ran up on him too much.  it happens..

Good call on the charting...I guess I meant the USTA chart, provided by James (as you correctly say), has it down as DX on McCarthy.

Tim did take up as 9 out of 10 guys do, but the #1 was not able to be held as easily.  I thought Tim did a pretty good job of not overreacting to nearly getting pushed out of the bike.

Of all the things wrong with harness racing, what Tim did in this particular instance is maybe a 1 on a scale of 9,937.
