Florida has no racing commission.    The judges are hired by the track.

I guess they got the message:https://www.arci.com/job/ops-state-steward/

so many hate the pomp. yet it is the most formfull track we have racing rite now. study the program, watch the replays, if you can handicap you will get the money at the pomp.
i totally agree about some of the people here but the racing has been good. i dont like uncoupled horses but the better one finishes ahead almost every time, except in cases of bad trips.
if you dont like pomp. dont bet it. stop complaining. the handles up huge and so is my wallet. best year i have ever had in 30 years of playing the pomp.
again if the races are crooked then they must study the program and see that the ones that should win, do win.

CROOKS SHOULD BE PUT IN JAIL, NOT JUST BANDED. JUST DONT DO IT AGIN, IS NOT AN EXCUSE.  SHUT THE PLACE DOWN IF THEY WONT GET RID OF THE CROOKS. TAKE MATTERS INTO YOUR OWN HANDS TO ELIMINATE THE THEIFS

I got a question might have to do with race fixing. Why do trainers always go if possible  with a driver from the same area originally. Ie michigan trainers will often use butler, wrenn etc. Austrailian trainers often use a driver from down under, canadian trainers love scotty z etc. I always thought it was because trainers were afraid the local drivers would screw them. But they could trust "their" guy from the same area. I took this as a tacit acknowledgement from insiders that race fixing was real and a concern not only to bettors but owners and trainers as well. Am I mistaken? If so please explain.

in increasing order of importance

3.  your explanation ... they aare paranoid.
2.  do not under estimate the depth of inbreeding that occurs.  they may not have the same name but they are rarely separated by more than 2 degrees.
1.  they are too lazy to try to get the best driver they can.

1 makes some sense. I gave some thought to that myself. Path of least resistance- just easiest.

Brett winning races is solid proof something is up.   Is Chindano getting help from beckwith because of his connection to larry?

$45k non carryover pic 4 pools with 12% takeout.

A couple years ago they couldn't get 30k total per race.  Now it's a 100k.  Those old folks really miss their greyhounds.

$1.2 Mil handle

non-jackpot pick6

Lots to like there.
