...they took away the open stretch. horses pulling 1st up doing it later in the mile than ever. might need to revert to 1 1/16th racing.
 almost as disturbing is in 8 horse fields charted the trailing 4 horses are averaging 2.8 lengths further back at the 1/2 mile pole than before they eliminated the open stretch. this means the gap outs are worse than ever.

conclusion = diseased product!  now I know why some people call it Welfare Negro Downs!
