Won her first at age 25. Five time trainer of the year award winner. Has what 4 pacers standing stud .... Not even 40 years old yet, is she? In her short career, has done more than 99% of anyone in the game.

tmbz1 Exactly.  Casie has lived and breathed harness racing since she was a kid-and has done the hard yards and then some.
She is not only a great trainer but pretty savvy when it comes to business as well. She has learned from her mistakes-learned from very good horsemen-and now has a system that if a horse is good enough she will get everything out of it.
Her barn and equipment is immaculate-and unlike a some trainers I could mention--she looks after her staff-because a happy staff means happy horses.
Im glad she has done well because its nice to see someone doing well in the Industry as the haters continue to run it down-so we need positive people-and she certainly is one of those.
She may have been lucky along the way with penalties which could(should) have been much worse-but she beat the bullet-and continues on successfully--good luck to her.

There is no explaining this.   No one calls yogurt shit, no one plans to give yogurt when its safe, and no horsemen calls yogurt a treatment.

This award is for training in 2018 in Canada. Everything before that should not be considered. Very little presence in Canada this year.

There is no doubt that she knows what she is doing and she doesn't leave anything to chance she is on top of everything. As bond said her operation is clean and tip top shape. Some have said she is hard on her help and if so she also is just as or harder on herself so that is a moot point. I heard one of her owners a while back didn't like being told that it was time to cut bait on one of his horses who was a rat and he pulled his horses from her. Got to like the honesty there, many trainers would pump you with BS and milk you. There are no surprises when it comes to her results and all the special yogurt or whatever until she is nailed which I doubt will happen, rock on Cassie.

👍.

She figured out this game a long time ago. She downsized because she was always on the go. She has a piece of everything so decisions are by what's best overall big picture. AGCO has probably put in more time and money trying to nail her but that will more than likely never happen. She bought into a thoroughbred with Andrew Harris and Jorge Navarro trains it. This as some have called it the Equine Drug Cartel and rightly so a global partnership. Whatever anyone wants to say about her she gets the money and horse racing has always been about who cheats the best so quit complaining.

Wow well stated
