Northfield starts of with two yr old trotters.
« on: July 04, 2018, 10:55:40 AM »
Monday and Tuesday Northfield held the colts divisions and filly divisions. Looked like many weren't ready to race on a half mile track with 29 out of 83 enter made a break in the race. While others had a hard time making that last turn while they where taking the outside path off the rail challenging the leader. Not a fan of half mile tracks for trotters but it is what it is. I see Brian Brown has 10 pacing colts in to go at Scioto for the 1st leg of colt pacers. Two entries in each race. Any guesses how many will make it into the finals come Sept. Can he get as many as 4 to the final?

  • Calhoun: Thx I'm leaning to the 5 there.  Those CD/GP full field races look the best on the page. 1/2 length from being a G3 winner.
