How do these deals work when a meet ends and a trainer does not ship to other tracks? Does the trainer absorb all the bills till the next meeting starts? I would assume the owner and trainer must share incurred costs.

If Dan Noble didnt show up and win 6 or 7 races a card Merriman would of got 17,000 2 months ago. If Noble stays at Northfield Merriman will have to drive in Maine on his off days to off set the money Noble is taken from him.
