Harness Racing / Re: Opinion?« Last post by Meadow Ford on Today at 11:00:08 PM »In the 80's I knew that whenever I got a horse ready to race there was a race in Chicago for it. Sp Park, Haw, May, or Bal.
If it wasn't Chicago stock, it could race at East Moline Downs and Fairmont Park. Today the dates are very limited and only Haw. is left in IL. 3
Harness Racing / Re: Micallef Absolutely Stinks« Last post by The Unstable on Today at 10:55:13 PM »I don't own Northfield. I am a lifetime fixture there and simply son't want to see a loser like Micallef, not miccalef, at my racetrack. He's a disgrace to the industry and is very dangerous on the racetrack. Why don't you enlighten us about the story! Do you welcome Noble? Are you saying you know nothing about what happened between Smith and his owners? PS By the way it’s don’t not son’t. It’s kind of ironic you pointed out my spelling mistake of Micallef with one in your own sentence if you son’t say!! 4

How much less then $15 was it? 5
Harness Racing / Re: Congrads« Last post by Kole Hanover on Today at 09:49:48 PM »Rene's former maritime trainers have the horse, look @ the owners You think Kap, Mr.Hill & Kalinowski just give a good horse to a lobster fisherman? Don MacRae is Rene's biggest fan "Go Daddy Go!" 6
Thoroughbred Racing / The Secretariat Club, Monday, 10/13/25« Last post by Trigger on Today at 09:27:17 PM »That last week closed out uneventful, ups, downs, ended on a slight winning note, down some for the overall week, with promo and rebates again about even. Not what I'm shooting for to say the least, but a steady improvement again like last week.
I previously reported incorrectly - There is actually racing at Santa Anita and Woodbine on this Columbus / Indigenous People's Day. I see one short field MSW I like at Santa Anita, the 2nd, and another MSW at Indiana their 4th, and a stakes at Finger Lakes, also the 4th race. All these tracks should be FAST, some slight rain forecasted in Farmington, NY where FL is so watch it. I'm not committed beyond those three races, however I'm drawn in by MST's p5s so I'll check out their 12 race card, also likely a FAST track. Canadian's have their Thanksgiving tomorrow, congrats ![]() Have a great week and Good Luck! ![]() 7

Harness Racing / Re: The satisfying revenge of Howard Taylor« Last post by Trigger on Today at 08:55:16 PM »If this was just Taylor v. Gural it would be one thing. It ain't that any more. Gural exercised private property rights, and if that's all the happened Taylor would have one fight on his hands. A massive one, but one fight. However, this has progressed well beyond that and it's mounting big time. One state declines him upon renewal, another just pulls the plug (not upon renewal, I think), then another, then Canada, and so on. Taylor's ability to own horses and race is being disabled state by state. As a lawyer, and a nut case he's taking the conjecture, innuendo route. You're right, he's a pariah. But he knows where "their bodies are buried" if he defended them for likely, partnered possibly too. As long as you don't attempt to kill your old lady outside of racing with a steak knife is there nothing that eventually just doesn't fade away in short or long term... 9
Harness Racing / Re: suprise visits« Last post by Trigger on Today at 08:49:16 PM »With the industry having very little public interest why would they want to catch people and give themselves a black eye ? If they look the other way they still have good jobs. I don't agree that's what they should be doing. I 100% agree that stuff is going on frequently, and worst, inside info into horse health related and possible outcomes for gambling purposes, envelopes of cash, gifts, favors, some one bearding horses for them. If they want to know how to maximize their income and resourcefulness toward corruption, file a complaint with AGCO and watch their moves. Watch Mohawk racing. ![]() 10
