In the 80's I knew that whenever I got a horse ready to  race there was a race in Chicago for it.  Sp Park, Haw, May, or Bal.
If it wasn't Chicago stock, it could race at East Moline Downs and Fairmont Park.
Today the dates are very limited and only Haw. is left in IL.

The fine was less then $15.

That last week closed out uneventful, ups, downs, ended on a slight winning note, down some for the overall week, with promo and rebates again about even.  Not what I'm shooting for to say the least, but a steady improvement again like last week.

I previously reported incorrectly - There is actually racing at Santa Anita and Woodbine on this Columbus / Indigenous People's Day.

I see one short field MSW I like at Santa Anita, the 2nd, and another MSW at Indiana their 4th, and a stakes at Finger Lakes, also the 4th race.  All these tracks should be FAST, some slight rain forecasted in Farmington, NY where FL is so watch it.  I'm not committed beyond those three races, however I'm drawn in by MST's p5s so I'll check out their 12 race card, also likely a FAST track.

Canadian's have their Thanksgiving tomorrow, congrats  , US in 6 weeks - I'm just looking forward to the slow down, peace and quiet which typically befalls the holidays here.

If this was just Taylor v. Gural it would be one thing. It ain't that any more. Gural exercised private property rights, and if that's all the happened Taylor would have one fight on his hands. A massive one, but one fight. However, this has progressed well beyond that and it's mounting big time. One state declines him upon renewal, another just pulls the plug (not upon renewal, I think), then another, then Canada, and so on. Taylor's ability to own horses and race is being disabled state by state.

This is compounded by the fact that the overwhelming majority of his horses are owned in partnership. How do you think Ron Burke and his partners are feeling about being partners with Taylor now? Svanstedt? Melander? Marv Katz? Brixton? These are just a few people who owned horses with Taylor in the past five years or so. Even if he doesn't own horses currently with these people, he owns most of his horses with partners. I don't care who they are, but they can't be feeling good about being partners with Taylor now, and potentially not being able to race in multiple jurisdictions. The state's and governing bodies have spoken. They don't want him. Can he fight everyone on this? Sure. But it ain't looking good for him.

As a lawyer, and a nut case he's taking the conjecture, innuendo route.

You're right, he's a pariah.  But he knows where "their bodies are buried" if he defended them for likely, partnered possibly too.

As long as you don't attempt to kill your old lady outside of racing with a steak knife is there nothing that eventually just doesn't fade away in short or long term...
