Be fair, I never came close to calling you an idiot. I dont do the name calling thing. You said Hoosier could very well supplant the Meadowlands as the top track in the country and I said I doubt it. When you talked about top drivers moving there, I noted that most live in Jersey. Point being I cant see them uprooting themselves and families for a B track which I don't think I will live long enough to see became an A track. More people I think leaned towards agreeing with me for what that's worth. I never even thought about calling you an idiot. some times you take some odd or interesting positions, but many feel that way about me sometimes. that's what makes it fun and there is plenty of info I have gained from what you know.

Didn’t mean you. Point is Melander,Alagna,Svanstedt and a few others have made roots in NJ   Now buying farms in KY. Sadly NJ I’d dying off without slots and even with slots PA can’t compete with Midwest and NY can’t either. Yonkers has great purses but that is only place and most of the top guys don’t want to race on 1/2 anymore.

Hoosier is the only all weather big track in the US besides M1. Other than Hawthorn and they can’t even seem to build a casino to print money out of.

A lot of guys don’t like that it is a 7/8 with 1/2 mile turns but not many other options for where to go for the big money. Says a lot that Hoosier has stepped up to take on BC 3 times in last 7 years and picked up the 2 races the M1 didn’t want anymore

Get lost with this Hoosier crap. I’m here year round and the place sucks donkey balls. Hoosier drivers and trainers couldn’t beat anyone outside of Indiana. W
Johnny Johnson fucked up Chicago harness racing. I hope you die !!!!

Why do you stay there?

God gives you just one mortal life to live.

Live it well.  Make a difference.  Be happy.

You can do none of those things if you are as miserable as you say.

Prayer helps.

Others have bought farms there too. Lindy Farms who has been in Conn for decades just announced that they are building a state-of-the-art facility in Kentucky. Kentucky will be THE PLACE TO BE for harness racing within a couple of years far surpassing the Meadowlands. The cost of living is much cheaper than in the Jersey area the weather year-round is so much better.

Kentucky is getting stronger by the day as Yonkers and the Meadowlands become weaker. This trend will continue.

Totally agree
Kentucky already has the biggest TB race in the world why not SB too. Any chance Oak Groves or the new Cumberland race year round?

East Coast gang (Burke, Alagna, A Miller, Ake, and others) .......

Thank the great state of KY for allowing them the highest state bred ( even if it wasn't KY stud ) program in the country.  tmbz1
