Saratoga is unbearable. Cushing is young with a big mouth and Bailey needs to find his way back to VD. Who even uses him besides Zach Gray and Andy Sardella?
It is unbearable except for the Beckwith kid.

Not for nothing, but if Cushing yields early, he is sitting 3rd behind a 28-1 shot.
He did not want that, so he pushed and yes he could of let Bailey go, but then he would be sitting 2nd behind a 28-1 shot off a 27 and piece quarter and 57 half.
He had a better horse and it turned out the best horse, cause he WON!
Like him or not, it was the right move.
I saw all the jawing between them to the quarter and half. Not surprised tempers flared up.
Cushing taking his whip and pointing it to the board, probably telling him you are 28-1, i am not letting you go. lol!
I am sure they will both be fined for "inappropriate conduct on and off the racetrack"
I wonder if Jimmy Devaux who was caught 3 wide had some words for either one of them. Devaux was 9-2.
Cushing probably would of let Devaux go, had not Bailey insisted on pressing.

King Leon overdriving on the 2 trying to out leave the 1. Nope. Any real professional driver will deny that move any day and then he proceeds to have more than words. Leon deserves 0 respect here on out

Sounds alot like Greg jizzmore. I think he was beat up by 3 people in the paddock. And one married his wife.

Leon Bailey should be given seven days for his unprofessional actions during and after the race. Cushing did nothing wrong and should not face any suspension.

Bailey lost lots of time with bad accident in'23..id think most trips in '24 new $$ meaning. BUT without lots of  'fueled up' stock in most drives, tough to get good checks,  Does cushing yield there? could of..should of, and then garner lead on the retake before being trapped. THAT happens most every time.
They raced again together in 5th and 11th without obvious on track 'dispute'

Cushing can be vocal but HIS HORSE WON THE RACE. Bailey drove badly. Fighting is absolutely wrong and there should and will be punishment. I'm sure there will be times in a race down the road to get even BUT Not fighting. I agree with an earlier plopster. Tough to watch STG. Almost every race has a prohibitive favorite. Fast 1st qtrs THEN THEY JAM. 27 then a 31. THIS IS RUINING RACING

Josh Marks got days for pointing the whip and taunting past the wire at Vernon.

Walter Case did it at Northfield and then heaved the whip onto the infield like a javelin earning him a suspension.

Had he just parked Bailey it would have been ok but to let him get within a step of clearing and then driving on was wrong.  One has to look back a week or 2 ago when leon was gapped out in the 3 hole and Stalbaum was outside him. What happened there ?? Larry comes down, cuts Baileys horses legs out from under him and he ends up in the infield.  Bailey could have done that  and probably received a lighter suspension than what he will now get.
If all Bailey gets is a $500 fine and I knew it, I would have given him $500 to hit him again..
