Big M broadcast
« on: September 04, 2023, 07:26:15 AM »
Does any other harness track put on a race card show like the Big M ?
I think it’s awesome, driver interviews, picks, overall top of the line quality broadcast.

Maybe Gural will let you back in if you promise not to try and fix every race.

I'll take Randy Waples picks and info over Big Little's any day of the week.  Watching him and Gabe pat each other on the back every time they pick a winner is too much.

Randy Waples is so far superior to Dave Little, that they should not be mentioned in the same sentence. Gabe is an improvement over Little.

Gabe Prewitt is a great guy and I am glad he was mentioned here. He was Mr. Pompano for their final years. Not only was he was responsible for growing their nightly handle night after night, he and the wonderful John Berry formed a very good pre-game show. Their picks may not always be too good but whose are? Gabe also did so much to promote the game. I said hello to him one day, chatted a few minutes and then invited me to his announcer’s booth. He wasn’t just being nice because I spent a few races in the Pompano booth on five occasions. It was always great watching a true professional in action. Plus he may have been one of the first to time the off time at Pompano so his track wasn’t butting heads with other live tracks and their bettors. And what a Send it in Army of fans Gabe built around the country. Great marketing and a bunch of fun. The USTA should make Gabe their President.

making gabe the president of the usta is a waste of his talent because they wouldn't let him change anything
what he should be considered for is a newly created position of commissioner of harness racing with all regions reporting into that position

Sorry that this will fall on deaf ears.  Time for a tea party.
