Not Really. Very Weak Field, 56. to half walking . 10 claimers went just as fast track amazingly fast today. MacDonald will destroy him by August.

Karl went a faster last half.  And he's a trotter in a qualifier.  The real Captain Crunch today was Gem Quality who had a low 25 kick in his qualifier to win.

He looked well with in himself. I over heard AT after the race say that he was on idle.
He was 165,000 yearling too

thorn, i get your view
but there is no point in comparing karl or even gem quality to this horse or similar horses
karl speaks for himself and gem quality was very impressive for first qualifier
so far this is just a reasonably fast horse that has beat nobody
dont forget there are many horses who paced faster than 151 as two year olds and they have yet to race

i guess time will tell

He's won 5 in a row, but he will have to go much faster to compete with the good ones.

The overpriced Americagreatagain makes his first start for Provost in that race too.  Trainer listed is Ruth Calcagni whoever she is.  Lets see if either son of Captain Crunch is successful.

A new beard in the mix?  Never heard of her and now trains for a known chaser.  I’m sure it’s all on the up and up.   ngc3
