Apparently a small business group in Ontario is behind similar type bets in Atlantic Canada. 5% return beats the banks.

interesting word 'business'

other B/C tracks that were hit recently in Ontario and Maritimes,
not one miss if i recall, on any of them.

assume all of these tracks getting closer to eliminating show wagers on any BOLD PRINT event, short field races.
small stakes affected in BC last night...at least one Prospect Series race affected in Ontario.

20k show bet on  1-9 shot today in PEI. Horse finished 4th. 3rd place finisher paid 1089.20 to show.

If you bet 20k to  show and make 1000...why does that matter when if u had 20k a 1000 means nothing. Plus the risk is huge

6 horse fields. Put $ to show on every other horse in race. Lose $10 but when they miss you get paid off nicely
