roger hammer
« on: July 01, 2020, 12:58:09 PM »
this guy needs to hang it up
race one at meadows he gets into a pissing contest to get the lead.
forget the fact that he is 40 to 1
foregt the fact that it is a 2 year old trotter making its first lifetime start
all he cares about is making the lead.....
forget ruining the horse
foreget getting a check...
he will sleep well at night because he did everything he could to lead at the quarter and made the favorite run because of it...

sick and sad

Hes always been that way. He hates to sit and he won't try to tuck. Anytime i saw he coming i took hold and let him clear, otherwise you're going to ding dong and finish last

Speed kills...just ask the Finn...Eash... Miller...Yoder... Anderson...Brian Pelling...Roland families who basically have about 60% trotters in their stables...Hammer is Hammer...older... father time is near...doesn't have much of a "go to" driver...kinda stuck driving for "fair" racing...stable will implode with no "catch driver"...time to sell

The real question you should ask...What have you done lately?...winning the Hambeltonian in 2005 with Vivid Photo was some 15 years ago...not to many vivid "babies" winning races lately...usually "beach" comes to mind...hammer is a one-hit wonder...time to sell after 40 some years

If it bothers you so much, why dont you call him up and tell him these things?

I think after 50+ plus years with trotters, Hammer knows what hes doing. I would never question his actions with a trotter.  NEVER.

i try to buy every single horse he has for sale
if he has something for sale let me know

niatross used to be a good horse too

father time is undefeated
