Harrahs Philadelphia thoughts for Thursday
« on: October 19, 2023, 12:09:39 PM »
For your consideration

Marcus Melander used driver Lind last week and all horses appeared to be in for a public workout

1. Today Corey Callahan takes the reins on two today
Race 6    #7
Race 13   #3
Corey for Peter Engblum
Race 14   #1

2. Two horses shipping in from Stakes in Woodbine to NW LT condition races
Race 8   #7
Race 9   #3

3.  In race 7...Condition was written for #2  opening up the LT earning so this horse fits. Shipping in from YR vs. better

Great job by Corey keeping the 7 from breaking in race 6. Started skipping final turn and looked hopeless until CC got him focused.

CC third winner of the day with more to come.

Opinions Please

There are rarely woodbine shippers to the PA tracks.

At Harrahs PH and Pocono, horse dropping out of Stake races to NW cdt races do quite well.

I got suckered into two Woodbine shippers in races 7 and 8 today of horses comig out of Stake races at Woodbine stinking up the track.

Has the level of quality diminished in Canada?

Broke 3 races in a row and still found a field to be 2 to 5 against
