The takeout at Chester is as criminal as the neighborhood.   Easy to pick winners hard to get paid in a worthwhile manner.

Fug...Seems like your route does not take you near Ocean Downs but it is also a very nice track. Family friendly and a good spectator frienly restaurant.

Nothing like a day at the beach and getting to the track in 10 minutes for some live harness racing.

Ocean Downs is CLOSED now for harness racing.  Rosecroft is open.

So is Tioga. I’m guessing his trip isn’t next week. Rosecroft and Ocean on my list at some point. Only need them and ME and Mass tracks to finish my east coast tour. Oh and Virginia

tmbz1 prolly Spring, though we will go to Miane for their early December racing. Was fun last year in the snow at Cumberland.

Winter racing is greaat. Spent many days in the snow at Monti and when I was in college, and car less, I would hitchhike to Batavia Downs for some great snow covered tracks. Batavia may be on your route. Right off the Thruway. Open until 12-19.
