Western Fair - Fifth Race tonight
« on: April 08, 2024, 07:48:14 PM »
If you want to see a real stiff job on a horse, watch the replay of tonight's fifth and Mike Horner on the three horse going off at 3-5.  He glues himself to the rail and doesn't budge even when he has a chance at the half to go first over.  He eventually finishes last.

He was actually 3/2 not 3/5 but yes not a real inspiring effort. By then it was too late really but leader got squirrely on backside
going to 3/4. Kinda bunched em up. Horse didn't conjure up images of Albatross however.

TALK ABOUT STIFF JOB
try the 3rd race.

How Ryan's favored #2 could fade to third BEHIND Thiessen's #3 is hard to believe.
I understand #5 Rye and Cline on top.

Malvolio..NO WAY should place there.

Come on boys..gotta be better than that.

Horner's horse was coming of a sick scratched and raced like it.  The horse never looked comfortable and was in low gear on turns.  But the sick scratch on 3/25 was reason enough.
