Back in the 80s--Nihilator raced as part of a three or four horse entry for Haughton--at Garden St they were listed at 1-9 a few times

Niatross was barred from wagering a few times but i am not sure if he was listed at 1-9 in any of the others

I’ve seen it quite a few times over the years. Especially in elimination races. Years ago the would bar a horse like that from wagering and you would be betting for 2-3-4 instead of 1-2-3

I've driven a couple that were barred from betting at fairs. Almost got one beat which is kind of embarrassing.

Only reason to draw blood on such a clandestine manner is because you don’t want vets from down there that aren’t the horses regular vet to see your horse blood work. High hemoglobin & hematocrit is usually a very good indication of Blood D
There are some big races the weekend somewhere

BINGO!WE HAVE A WINNER FOLKS! The only probable reason is to conduct the blood draw without detection! The 5k fine is peanuts for this operation. A PROFESSIONAL regulatory governing body would have had a additional draw conducted by investigators, for an independent review, to be sure that Blood Doping was NOT  being perpetrated. This happenstance is just another opportunity to insure that an alternative motive was not a factor in this action! Let's see if the competing trainers and drivers delay the post parade, like they did at the Jug Final when Gassie was busted in Yogurt Gate!

Heres the race the stooge mafia should dump their big show bet on. Wont though unless Moe has taken over leadership of scheme. Curly likes to bet place up at frasier downs. Moe is the sharpie.
