The track surface is a disaster right now! Two horses broke their back leg a few weeks ago, in back to back nights! The race office is in total disarray allowing a trainer to race horses in the same race under another trainers name. Horses are being allowed to drop multiple class. Saturday 10/29 open was a sham! Shame on the management of Batavia Downs you traded one set of crooks for another!

Use to Love the Buffy/Batavia back in the day...Vance,Rapone,Eddie Mcnight etc...Remember a horse Chicoppe Chimes..How about the time this just when you could bet tracks from all over pretty much at otb..dont think Jersey yet..so im home mowin the lawn..come up with the bright idea to play whatever letters are on the 3 $1s in my pocket..Looked F B C..=623....pretty sure it was a Sunday...play 623 at every tracks tiple that day...But Buffy or Batavia..Said I can Cap that track so I saved $4 bucks...think it was about the 5th race...Crash happens..sure is shit comes 623 Pays 10 K....Pretty sure the winning driver was Alexsander Guilianni... :P

Chicopee Chimes. I remember that name. I think my father owned part of her early on before being sold to Batavia. We had another mare Chicopee Star that went onto produce a few nice racehorses.

I remember not that anybody gives a flying F@ck my otb by my  my crib closed at 8pm...Id stay there for the early DD and have a cab pick me up at 8 and dont be late acoss my village across then another village and way way on the other side of the next ccity...$6. Bucks...hate to think what that would cost now days..hit the bar at that otb then have a cab get me all the way past where he first spot i got picked up thru another Village and into the next City $20 (for the ride)and party my balls off to all Crazy hours of the morning...Then be at my otb for Aquaduck around Noon..After that go home freshen up and walk back down to Otb for some Bat/Buffy..Oh the good old days..But then again theses are the good old days

He's at Ocean Downs, was also Race Secretary. Had a great show on the radio, gave his pics. That was at Buffalo, don't think he ever worked at Batavia
