BRIBING VOTERS is a federal crime. But apparently it doesn't count if you mail the cash from the White House and call it a "refund."
Weeks before the midterms, Donald Trump is mailing $500 checks to nearly a million Americans. Guess where most of them are going.
71% of the money is landing in 13 battleground states.
Those states hold 8 of the 9 most competitive Senate races and 10 of the 12 tightest governor's races. What a coincidence.
The White House calls it an Obamacare "refund." But 19 million Americans rely on Obamacare, and only 950,000 get a check.
And of course, every check comes with a letter from Trump taking the credit.
Here's what's not in the envelope: Republicans let your health care subsidies expire. Some families are now paying over $2,200 a month in premiums, and $500 doesn't even cover one month.
And the worst is yet to come as many of the worst effects are scheduled to go into effect after midterms, so they can blame Democrats.
So he breaks your health care, mails you a coupon with his name on it, hopes you say thanks at the ballot box, and then blame Democrats.
He's already dangled $5,000 checks if Republicans keep Congress, and even GOP strategists admit this could swing votes on the margins.
Using your tax dollars to buy an election? If that isn't illegal, it should be.
Cash the check. Then vote them out.

“For years, the Biden Administration overcharged you to fund the operation of HealthCare.gov,” Trump writes in the letter, which CNBC viewed.

Trump’s letter describes the move as a way to “restore Affordability, protect your hard-earned money, and lower the Cost of Healthcare.”

“You have paid into this flawed System, and now you are finally getting something back,” Trump wrote.

The refunds for enrollees in Obamacare — an informal name for the Affordable Care Act — come as millions of households saw their health insurance premiums spike after ACA enhanced premium subsidies lapsed at the end of 2025.

The primary recipients of the refunds will be people whose income is over 400% of the federal poverty line, the Trump administration official said. That’s roughly $63,000 for an individual and $129,000 for a family of four.

The $500 refunds are being paid from a “surplus” of “user fees” collected by the Biden administration, according to the Trump administration official. The White House said these excessive charges had been passed on to consumers during the Biden era through higher health insurance premiums.

"For years, the Biden Administration overcharged you to fund the operation of HealthCare.gov," Trump says in a letter being sent to recipients. "That money belongs to hard-working Americans, not the Government, and now I'm returning it to you!"

If I could survive 4 years of Biden, you can survive 2 more years of Trump 
Like I mentioned, I like the man's policies, not so much the man himself
Closing the border, tax cuts, no tax on ot or tips etc....
I admittedly think though that the Iran war has derailed his 2nd term
When going into a conflict,one must have a clear goal and more importantly a clear end game. History has taught us this. Regime change or attempting that never works.They should have bombed all the nuclear sites and taken out alot of their missiles and called it done. Now we are stuck in a quagmire with still no endgame in sight.
