Meadowlands $400 Participation Fee
« on: January 18, 2026, 05:35:37 PM »
I don’t see how paying $400 per horse for the 2 year olds to Gural makes any sense unless you have a high dollar yearling.

It’s on your staking reports. Due in Feb.

If you disagree let me know what I’m missing.

I paid it for my NJ bred, better to have & not need than other way around I guess
Best time of year watch the young horses racing for great money. Nothing better than following the horses, going to wherever their next stake is, with family.

Just a beginning of what to expect in the future. All owners will have to pay a fee to enter your horse in any race. Or atleast to have the privilege to race there. Maybe a 1 time fee per year per horse.

Just mark my words! It's coming!

Sure they want to charge a fee but then pick and choose who can race there. Pretty sad they have to keep adding fees. It’s only gets worse each year

The fee would only allow the horse with a trainer/owner already cleared to race there by his majesty King Gural.
