9th RACE MEADOWLANDS

All the judges from that race should be fired immeadatly,with no severance package. Once the horses nose breaks the wire the race is over for him,his whole body was pass the wire and these imbeciles take him down. Owners should be in court on Monday filing papers to have one of the worst DQ'S of all time reversed.

You’re correct about the nose hitting the wire but he was pacing the last 2 horse lengths before wire that’s considered off stride . Perfect call

I believe you mean race 8. The announcer said dq for pacing 5 lengths before the wire & not losing ground...while on an improper gait.

Id like to know why he wasnt taken all the way down?  If you begin to pace in a trotting event, it should be dq to last.  My opinion.

It is the same thing as a pacer or trotter breaking into a gallop. Off stride is off stride, so the same rules apply. I haven't watched the race but I am guessing he wasn't lapped on by any others, or he would have been moved down further.

Here is the race before the inquiry, ultimately was in the "last 5 strides" so they seemingly estimated who he wouldn't of beat if he was trotting and placed him only behind him.
