Looks like a really nice card with several competitive races.  Could be a decent betting card if any money gets pumped into it. Will Chantilly get her doors blown off?  I'm not a Pocono fan, but I'll be watching and wagering Saturday.  Good luck all, and post and hunches or angles here.

there aren't many stakes for older trotting mares available-and since she wasn't Hambletonian Oaks eligible-she doesn't qualify for any "maturity" races

unless she faces older males-there isn't much reason to keep her racing-there isn't enough purse money to justify keeping her on the track

she will probably be retired after this season is over

 Oh thanks for informing me, I wasn't sure how that would affect eligibility in any maturity races but it makes sense.

 The amount of $ they paid for her, I couldn't imagine she will be retired, since they race their horses. Although her babies could go for big money, the breeding isnt top notch.
 I could see her being sold & then bred, but will race another year or 2, the odd try in against the boys, pick spots well etc.
