 AKE is THE trotting master

If I dealt in expensive grand circuit trotters, I would pay him whatever it took to get into his stable.

 Congrats
It's a great game, if you have the means to play

It doesn't hold weight when people are only doing something out of spite, after being kicked out & having nowhere to go.

Ake is great trainer he can make any trotter trot without hopples but with that being said he has some sort of blast ( most likely EPO) he uses. He peaks them for the big days. Perfect example Gap Kronos had no trot a few weeks ago yesterday he trotting out of his skin.

I have no proof one way or the other if he does/doesn't use anything but Gap Kronos had one "poor" start this year, and hasn't missed a check. Could just as easily been sick. And yes - Ake can get a horse ready for the big day better than anyone.

I backed Nordic Catcher pretty well. I don't know why people weren't more impressed by him last week and the colt has been better and better. He's an absolute powerhouse to look at. Great steer by Ake to let him lay outside there for a bit, certainly looks like the type of horse who could take some air and he effectively made Yannick pay mightily for his mistake in not retaking by keeping him pinned in till he out of ground to run him down.

Most of the horses trained by Scandinavians  can take a lot of air.. They can sit outside a long ways and still go on when asked.  I believe I heard him say after last weeks win that the pacers have more strength and that is what this horse shows..

Unfortunately the horse's effort gets overshadowed by the track owners highly offensive comments about his track maintenance crew

Yes. He had the trackcrew make the 2 path as hard as possible for the svanstendts. Since the horse was barefoot, he needed it that way to really allow him to grab the track. They wanted to be out there in that path on the track. Now the other parts of the track were not nearly the same.

That's been the sindustry story ever since. Not the horse who is extremely unique and talented. Shame

If he said that in an interview it is on video. When someone makes a slanderous remark like this, they need others to corroborate the story or, better yet, actual video or audio of the comment.

100% agreed. I find it hard to believe. I have also now seen one individual say he had the crew make the track hard in the 2-path and one saying they made the track deep. Can't be both. Is either true?
