He makes it very clear you don’t have a say and doesn’t ever want to be questioned.  I talked to someone who told me he didn’t even want the fractional owners talking to each other about the decisions being made.  That was crazy to me!

If you have no worry about throwing money around and actually want to make a bit too, I would not recommend The Stable. If you are interested in owning a piece of a horse just for fun, then would absolutely recommend The Stable.

straight from the Amac website:

Unfortunately, due to privacy restrictions, we cannot share or openly post all of the names of clients associated with each horse.

Reason for this is that Amac does not want 51% of the ownership to get together and force him to do the right thing. Also, if he buys a horse from his buddy Palermo beware that the horse stinks and right now look at when and for how much he bought Nasa for AFTER Amac said the horse was not worth I believe $25K until his buddy Palermo called and "convinced" Amac to pay $30K for Nasa and if I am right so far he has earned ZERO except for Palermo and the money Amac skimmed off the top!!

Who is he fooling, lol!

He couldn't remember Hughes name for sure who speed dueled Save America onto an operating table with Murphy's guidance.

I'm not so sure about the privacy for that reason, from what I recall it is not about majority ownership, that TheStable reserves the right to make all decisions i.e. buying, selling, tracks, entering races, trainers, drivers, etc. and the yo yo's all have to sign off on it.

AMac if he could remember a name he'd blab it out in 2 secs.  No one on planet earth has the yapping stamina to him, and a master at the irrelevant and when something important happens he's the cliffhanger mesiter general.

Anthony MacDonald and the Stable do a great job.  Buys good horses, uses very good trainers and  drives many of them himself.  Don't let sour, jealous people stop you from checking him out!
I heard this owner/trainer Bill Bercury would be a good one to get into this business with. B 73cv.2

Uncle Jerry.....the advise from Rainman2 would be solid. He's had good success in the biz with "fractional ownership".

"You're probably better off finding a trainer that you like, deal with, and trust his/her judgment and get into partnership with them."

Rainman and I agree on very little, but we have found common ground on the ownership piece.
Even better if you have a couple of friends that want to do the same thing.
Find a good trainer and take a group to him that want 30% or more of a horse.   He'll take a bit and will have a couple of owners that he can add to fill up the 100%.
Get involved in the process of buying a 2 year old.   Make notes in a catalogue.   Watch the videos.  Go to the sale.
Interesting and fun.

A. Mac can't afford to allow membership to intermingle because if one of his army started their own operation, the lid would be blown off when ACTUAL EXPENCES were realized! Life is full of  fun and games when all your personal experiences are rolled into the training bills! tmbz1
